Ah, looks so good – and owning one might even be better. But before you give your credit card a workout, how does the Apple iPad really fare in the digital world?
The Good
-
The look and the specs are really more than a handful, especially for Apple lovers.
-
A ton of apps – Well-loved Apple apps have been reconfigured to fit the iPad screen, while several other additions are made available as well.
-
Wider option for connectivity
-
And of course, nothing says ‘I’m better, more beautiful and you’ll have more fun with me’ more than the huge LCD display.
The Bad
-
First party apps of course are no issue, and opening several of them at the same time proves to be smooth and fast. But multitasking with third party apps are quite a letdown.
-
For those who want their iPad to be a little more serious and do some real work, the on-screen QWERTY may be a challenge – as typing is really different as you would with normal keyboard where keys are easier to ‘locate’.
-
An optional dock with keyboard available as a separate accessory may help though.
The Somewhat Ugly
-
The iPad, as some consider, is a bigger and sleeker version of iPod Touch. With a vicious look and more apps, the iPad may actually leave you wanting more.
-
It carries with it as well a heavy price tag. Not for the budget-conscious, the Apple iPad though is a beautiful and flashy luxury.
